National Holidays

The mobile phone industry in Russia is dubbed one of the largest in the world.
There are three main mobile phone operators in Russia, including Beeline, Megafone and Mobile TeleSystems, which is a joint venture of T-Mobile, Siemens and Moscow City Telephone network.
Russia's first mobile phone network came into operation in 1964, and its first 3G service began in 2007.
As of January 2011, the top five mobile phones in Russia included the Nokia 6300, the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic, the Nokia 2700c, the Sony Ericsson W800 and the Samsung S5230.
In April 2011, a teenage rock band from Russia became the first group to play a concert using only Apple iPads and iPhones for instruments.
