The Sony Ericsson K800i is good phone, I have had mine for about 11 months now with no problems. Best feature is the camera which really is very impressive, especially when you get them printed.however the video function is much less impressive, infact pants. Easy to use, packed with features, and a good battery life even in a fringe 3 service area.

After much cafeful & detailed searching I finally elected to buy the Sony Ericsson K800i. My new model was to replace an old trusty, but now unfortunately rusty Sanyo phone!
I opted for the K800i as I wanted a camera phone that provided decent pictures as my older phone had done. I was not disappointed when I got the Sony Ericsson. The cybershot 3.2mp with its assortment of features makes for an excellent every day camera phone, producing quality images that would rival any 'regular' mid range digi camera. The kit comes complete with the USB to easily upload your pics to your computer, or of course you can use bluetooth.
Other features I like on the phone include the photo address book, which is great, you can see who is calling you! I also like how easy it is to navigate around the menu, the built in radio & music player, (earphones are supplied with the phone), & the video calling facility. There is a tiny camera on the front of the phone for this. If I was looking for negatives I would say the keys are quite small & some of the access buttons (orange world in my case), is ridiculously tiny & easy to press accidently, resulting in possible charges if you don't notice in time!
The phone is not the thinnest by any means, but that is due to the Sony cybershot camera gubbins inside, saying that it fits comfortably in the hand & comes with a wrist strap for extra safety. Overall I am reasonably happy with the K800i. It's not by any stretch a 'fashion' looking phone, but is more a solid, compact little model that is packed with all sorts of useful features, & a couple of fun ones too, such as basic games to while away an hour or so!
The only reason I am giving it a 7 is the issue with the tiny orangeworld button which is located next to a main key, it's overly sensitive & so can be connected too easily by mistake. Other than that I would recommend the K800i to anyone who likes to take pictures but doesn't want to have to carry a separate camera around, the Sony Ericsson K800i does the job admirably... as well as being a phone that makes calls of course!

i love the sony ericsson k800i. i had this phone for a year and upgraded to the k850i 1 month ago - big mistake. the k800i has decent sized keys, an all in 1 left, right,up,down and OK key. it also has seperate keys on the body for accessing the photo album and your music player without the need to trawl through pages of menus. the k850i has none of these, it is lovely to look at but a fiddly nightmare to use. the k800i is a design classic and sony ericsson should have just added a 5mp chip to the camera and left the rest alone.

A superb phone, I have had mine for about 10 months now wtih no problems. Best feature is the camera which really is very impressive, especially when you get them printed. Stylish design, easy-to-use, packed with features. Only annoying thing, is the lens cover which has the tendency to open in your pocket and drain your battery.
