Modern and stylish, the LG Orsay is clad in a sleek black casing designed with edges that come with the chrome effect. A slim handset weighing only 110 grams, the LG Orsay measures 96.9 x 51.4 x 14.9 millimetres when its slide is in closed position.

The LG Orsay ensures pleasurable viewing for its users. It flaunts a 54.36-millimeter TFT display screen, which also supports 262,000 colours on a 240 x 320-pixel resolution. The LG Orsay comes with a selection of wallpapers to enliven the display screen. To effectively reflect its user’s personality, the LG Orsay allows users to select from an array of polyphonic ring tones, or download them from the Internet in MIDI and MP3 audio formats.

The mobile phone is equipped with a navigation tool, plus shortcut keys for an easier access to its functionality. The LG Orsay also comes with keypads that are well-spaced, making text and number inputting seamless and trouble-free.

The LG Orsay's built-in camera of 5 Megapixels allows its user to capture clearer photos, with its standard shutter speed feature. Additionally, the LG Orsay camera has settings that are fairly easy to operate for manipulating photo results according to user preference.

Notably, LG Orsay’s built-in digital camera has Schneider Kreuznach camera lens, and has lens cover to protect it from damages, especially when being handheld. It also comes with an LED flash which gives photos enough light and vibrant colours even when taken under dull conditions. Taking pictures need not be done by stiff hands, as the LG Orsay camera steadies and fixes the otherwise unwanted movements in photos through its image stabiliser. An internal auto-focus feature also effects clear and precise photo subjects.

The LG Orsay camera also allows users to record and play video footages. Settings preferences for videos are also allowed by the built-in camera. As an added feature, the LG Orsay automatically rotates images, either horizontally or vertically, when taking photos or recording videos.

Connectivity with the LG Orsay is through USB mass storage or wireless Bluetooth technology with A2DP. Through this, LG Orsay users are able to connect the handset to their compatible versions of laptops, computers, printer or headphones for data and file transfers. For access to the Internet, the LG Orsay is equipped with a built-in WAP browser and XHTML while running on EDGE and GPRS for speedier Internet connection.

Running on tri-band technology under GSMs 900, 1800 and 1900, the LG Orsay allows more options for users to share data. The mobile phone supports text messaging or SMS, enhanced messaging or EMS, multimedia messaging or MMS and video MMS. Additionally, the LG Orsay assists its users when inputting text messages through its predictive text T9 program. As the handset allows Internet access, it also has email services.

Just like a portable computer, the LG Orsay allows its users to view documents in common Window formats such as .pdf, .txt, .ppt, .doc and .xls. On-the-go, busy users will appreciate the LG Orsay with its organiser features, which include a calendar, a scheduler, an alarm clock and a calculator. Its phone book allows storage of 1,000 contacts.

In its being a classy yet practical mobile phone, the LG Orsay has not compromised the fun-digging mobile phone users. Thus, the LG Orsay supports games in Java format downloaded from the Web. Playing games on the mobile phone is made more exciting with its motion sensor, Games M Toy. Other customary entertainment features of the LG Orsay include a built-in music player and an FM radio for catching up on up-to-date music, as well as sports or current news. The LG Orsay also has a voice recorder to boot.

The LG Orsay has an internal memory of 12 Megabytes. This capacity to store data may be increased to up to 4 Gigabytes using the MicroSD Memory Card. With a fully charged battery, the LG Orsay allows up to 6 hours of talk time, or an equivalent of 450 hours when on stand by.

I think the phone is good but am having trouble downloading songs from itunes onto the KC550

I really do love this phone, its 1 of the best phones i have ever owned! (and believe me, iv owned alot)!, its extremly easy to use and its got everything you need aphone can offer and more. The camera is also fantastic especaly for those moments you cant replace. The games are fun and different and also very adictive!
