I have only recently had a good play around with a T-Mobile Sidekick Slide, having looked after my brothers while he was abroad.
The camera wasn't wonderful, but was acceptable, and the pictures look a lot better when viewed on a larger screen once downloaded onto a computer.
It is a lovely looking phone, with a smooth sliding action, and after a few minutes getting used to the controls, you can easily access whatever function you wish.

not a very good camera. has poor pictures. poor sound on the mp3 player. not very tough but not very chunky. the internet capability is a great help. a good looking camera reasonable if you can get it free on contract. not something i would have paid for but not overall a bad phone. maybe the follow up will be better.

I like the feel of this phone, nice slim profile and not too heavy. The opening action is smooth and the buttons easy to use, and although the sound quality isn't perfect it's not half bad. The screen is described as large, but personally I found it a little small to see easily. The weakest point has to be the camera, the picture quality is quite poor, rather grainy and doesn't cope well with low light levels, but what do you expect for a 1.3mp. If you want great photos, use a digtal SLR. Overall, the good points outweigh the bad ones.

Not a bad phone but ridiculously fragile, after one night out sat down on it and the screen cracked. Would not recommend to all as very fiddly to use. It has some nice features with a decent enough camera, but not high quality enough to rely on, good to send mms with agree with other reviewer.

The sidekick slide is definately a step up in quality from the original sidekick. Being someone who uses a phone for internet connectivity and emails this works brilliantly for me and is great for keeping in touch with friends via email, texts and messenger. The internet speeds are fast and the overall quality of the design is slick and modern. Glad to see the Sidekick finally becoming as popular in the UK as it is in the states where everyone seems to have one of these handy little devices!

I was quite impressed by this phone overall. Although the call quality was a bit tinny, the 1.3 megapixel camera was ok. I loved the qwerty keyboard, although it was a bit stiff to use. The biggest plus for this phone is the slide up screen, which made the phone easier to use, and looked really cool!

I dont really know where to start about this phone, it was a big disappointment. Ive had all of the side kicks and alwasy upgrade when the new one come out. The camera on this phone is very fuzzy which is a disapointment. you also cannot have your own tone or music for a ring tone or text message, this was slightly anoying due to all of the tones on the phone are ridiculous! but over all the internet is quite quic, apart from havign to give your credit card details for a web site such as myspace, this frightened me to death but i then found out i was not charged any thing. the texting is quick and the phone has amazing memory!
