The Sony Ericsson Naite is a 3G Greenheart phone that is environmentally friendly. It is made from recycled plastic and contains no lead, less chemicals, and has an e-manual. This phone has a 2 megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom and a 2.2 inch 262,144 colour TFT QVGA screen. It has a media player and an FM radio with RDS. It is a Quad band phone that gives up to 13 hours 45 minutes of talktime, 600 hours of music enjoyment or 600 hours on standby. The Sony Ericsson Naite is available in Vapour Silver or Ginger Red.

The Sony Ericsson Naite is encased in a bar-shaped design in either ginger red or vapour silver color characterised by linear designs that give it a neat appearance. Simple yet stylish, this handset is part of Sony Ericsson's GreenHeart family, which also includes the Sony Ericsson C901. True to its name, the GreenHeart range of mobile phones are manufactured using recycled plastics, with energy-saving battery charger that is known to require low power consumption. To keep owners essentially familiar with its usage, the GreenHeart line-up of handsets, including the Naite model, also has an e-manual guide.

This mobile phone has a total weight of 84 grams and full measurements of 108 x 47 x 12.6 millimetres. It flaunts a TFT GVGA screen that measures 55.88 millimetres and displays picture or animated wallpapers on 262,000 colours over 240 x 320 resolution. Users may opt to give it a more distinct personality through assigning alerts using its set of pre-installed polyphonic ringtones.

The Sony Ericsson has quad band capacity, particularly working over GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, and UMTS 2100. While it is ideal for users who frequently travel, its network reach fully depends on its service provider. This handset allows users to explore the Internet with its built-in WAP 2.0 HTML NetFront Web browser. This mobile phone's connectivity options are made possible through the USB and wireless Bluetooth features. Through these, users may transfer files with compatible devices that include laptops, printers, scanners, other mobile phones and personal computers. This handset's EDGE and GPRS features ensure faster downloads and file sharing rates. Moreover, its 3G HSDPA capability makes this handset efficient in multi-tasking.

The Sony Ericsson Naite offers SMS or text with Predictive Text and MMS or multimedia messaging as customary communication features. Using this handset, users will also be able to check their e-mail accounts online, or compose and send e-mail messages. It also makes chatting possible minus a personal computer through its instant messaging support.

Keeping users' schedules and tasks in neat order, this mobile phone has a set of organiser features. It has a calculator, phone book, calendar, timer, alarm clock, stopwatch, vibration alert option, and flight mode selection for frequent travellers. For ease in making or taking calls, this handset has built-in speakerphones.

Entertainment-wise, this mobile phone makes a quality photo-snapping device. Users can freeze moments anytime using this handset's 2-Megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom. This camera has a Photo Fix feature, through which pictures can be creatively tweaked to achieve desired photo outputs. This onboard camera also records, plays and streams videos in popularly accepted formats. As a 3G handset, the Sony Ericsson Naite supports video calling. A dedicated camera button makes this mobile phone's imaging features a real breeze to use.

This handset also makes a good companion to music-loving users with its intergrated music player. This music player comes complete with the MegaBass option for better sound quality; the PlayNow feature for high speed music downloads from the Internet, as well as a TrackID music recognition system for listeners to view the song title, the song performers and the album to which a track they are enjoying belongs. The FM radio RDS facility of this handset also offers an alternative listening experience while allowing users to acquire news, weather, sports and other information provided by radio stations. Additionally, this mobile phone keeps users of all ages entertained with its set of built-in games in Java and 3D formats.

The Sony Ericsson Naite allows users to store contact details, photos, graphics, images, videos and other files of up to 100 Megabytes in its internal memory. When more room is needed to accommodate more data, this mobile phone's internal memory is expandable through MicroSD memory card support. Users may enjoy getting in touch with their contacts for 13 hours using this handset. Its standard Li-Po 950 mAh battery also offers 600 hours of standby time.
