A lightweight device at 109 grams and bearing the full measurements of 113.3 x 63 x 12 millimetres, the Samsung C6625 is a head-turner with its candy bar design.

This slim mobile phone is packed with a host of practical and fun features and is easy to hand-carry. It is available in stunning colours of black, apple green, wine red and navy blue. To give it a more personalised appeal, users may choose from a set of ring tones to serve as call and message alerts.

This handset's front area flaunts a 66.04-millimetre TFT screen. It showcases images in 65,536 brilliant colours in 320 x 240-pixel resolution. Right below the TFT screen is a QWERTY keyboard with well-spaced buttons. For ease in texting and numerical inputs, the handset works on Predictive Text.

This handset operates on Windows Mobile V6.1 Standard system, and runs on 393 MHz processor. The handset is tri-band, and works over GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900, as well as UMTS 2100, making it the perfect companion for frequently traveling users.

The Samsung C6625 allows users to enjoy browsing through the World Wide Web with its Internet access option. Users may utilise the Internet Explorer Mobile browser. Those who intend to share files with compatible gadgets like a laptop, a printer and a personal computer, may use the connectivity options of USB v. 2.0, or wireless Bluetooth 2.0. It is powered by GPRS and EDGE technologies, and assures users of speedier data transfer and downloading rates. Adding to the advanced features of the handset is its TouchWhiz interface, complete with a navigation d-pad and a widget bar.

This handset offers the customary services of text messaging or SMS and multimedia messaging or MMS. Users may also access their emails right on the device, and compose, send and receive email messages through IMAP, POP3 and SMTP. This handset can also pass for a dependable assistant with its organiser tools, including a calculator, a calendar, a to-do feature and a clock to assist busy users in their planning and scheduling. The handset also comes with a GPS feature that serves as a location guide for applicable areas.

Similarly, making or taking calls is a breeze with the Samsung C6625. It offers a speaker phone for hands-free calls, and comes with voice command support.

The Samsung C6625 is a pleasure to use for photo buffs. It has an integrated camera with 2-Megapixel resolution. The handy picture-taking device comes complete with digital zoom that helps capture subjects more precisely. Besides freezing photo-perfect moments, the handset's built-in camera also captures video footages. It also offers the video playback feature that supports MPEG4, WMV, H.264 and 3GP formats.

Completing the entertainment features of this mobile phone is the pre-installed music player through which users can listen to their favourite songs in MP3, AAC+, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA audio formats. Music-loving owners of this handset will also appreciate its stereo FM radio support, complete with RDS that allows access to news, weather reports and other information from radio stations.

The mobile phone runs on a standard Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery. Users will enjoy the handset for 8.7 hours or 522 minutes in talk time. With its battery fully charged, the handset can last for 500 hours or roughly 21 days on standby mode. The handset has a storage capacity of 128 Megabytes, which may be expanded through a memory card.

In spite of its good looks and a full array of integrated features, this mobile phone is being criticised by unhappy users for its lack of Wi-Fi support. Others contend that the integrated camera of the handset lack the zest of advanced photo editing and track enhancement features. Moreover, the built-in camera is average performing, and does not match up with the digital cameras that are pre-installed in some 3G smartphones available in the market. Some users also find the handset to be too clunky with an unfriendly user interface.

Nevertheless, satisfied users express delight over the easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard of the handset. Overall, the Samsung C6625 is applauded for its straightforward usability, which addresses business-related needs while pleasing entertainment-focused users.
