Weighing 165 grams with fitted battery and measuring 102 x 51 x 18.1 millimetres, the Serra is part of the XDA lineup of mobile phones from O2, alongside the Ignito model. It comes with functionalities that have been modeled and enhanced from O2's Orbit handsets. The mobile phone sports a black exterior, which extends to its buttons and external ports.
Powered by the Qualcomm 528MHz chip, the O2 XD Serra works on Windows Mobile version 6.1 Professional. It is highlighted by a touch-sensitive TFT LCD screen that works on TouchFlo 3D technology.
