Nokia N80 Review - User Reviews

After years of happy Nokia ownership, this is the phone that convinced me to switch to Sony Ericsson. First problem: the system software was not cleared of glitches prior to release, as a result the phone had an annoying habit of crashing and was too slow. Next problem, the particular phone in question had a black plastic back with a metal and silver front. The silver finish was painted on and wore off making the phone look awful and cheap. Why not black plastic all over? Useless. The final straw: the charger was a nightmare and in the end, due to a loose internal connection, had to be cradled and fondled to induce it to charge. The phone is also bulky and ugly, which would be forgivable for the decent signal, camera and text function, but not in view of the above complaints.
