Tipping the scale at 103.5 grams with the full dimensions of 98 x 48.4 x 15 millimetres, the Nokia 7100 Supernova is a compact mobile phone. It is clad in a solid casing in black, jelly red or fresh blue colour selection from which users can choose to suit their taste and reflect their style. The handset also comes with an array of ringtones in MP3, AAC and polyphonic audio formats that owners may opt to utilise depending on their preference.

The Nokia 7100 Supernova flaunts a 50.8-millimetre QVGA TFT display screen. The wide screen shows the handset's wallpapers and screensavers in 65,000 colours over a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Right below the display screen is a section that underscores the handset's call keys, navigation key and shortcut keys in a colourful strip found on the front area of the casing.

The Nokia 7100 Supernova is a member of the elite collection of Supernova handsets consisting of the Nokia 7610 Supernova, the Nokia 7510 Supernova, the Nokia 7310 Supernova and Nokia 7210 Supernova models.

Taking random pictures is possible with the 1.3 Megapixel camera of the Nokia 7100 Supernova.
