Looking chic in its gray-and-black modern design, the HTC Touch HD2 is a buffed up version of the HTC Touch HD. It is a 3G handset that flaunts a huge touch-sensitive screen and a wide array of Smartphone capabilities. It tips the scale at 157 grams with full dimensions of 120.5 x 67 x 11 millimetres. Moreover, this handset comes with a selection of polyphonic and MIDI ringtones that exude a more personalised appeal.
This handset displays images, graphics and photos in 65,000 colours over 480 x 800 pixels on its capacitive touch screen that measures 109.22 millimetres. Notably, the HTC Touch HD2 is the first Windows-operated Smartphone that works on capacitive touch technology. It is powered by HTC Sense, which allows users to customise their handset's user interface through placing the most frequented features in easy-to-access locations. The touch screen also offers auto-rotate and handwriting recognition features.
This Smartphone works on Snapdragon processor and runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system. It is quad band and operates on GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, WCDMA 900 and WCDMA 2100.
The HTC Touch HD2 comes with an Opera Mobile Internet browser that allows users to navigate the World Wide Web with ease. Users who are frequently on the go will still be able to go online in designated hotspots, thanks to its Wi-Fi support. It also enables users to transfer files with using the minUSB feature. An even more convenient option is this mobile phone's Bluetooth A2DP support for data sharing between compatible devices that are up to 10 metres apart. Given this mobile phone's GPRS and EDGE support, users are assured of faster Web download and file sharing rates. Moreover, this handset is 3G HSDPA-enabled, making it a reliable device at multi-tasking.

It allows users to enjoy talk time with their contacts for approximately 6.3 hours. On a fully charged battery, this mobile phone lasts to up to 490 hours in standby time.
