Weighing 134 grams, the Blackberry 8700g is a fashionable and functional pocket PC. The Blackberry 8700g exudes elegance and mixes it with a business-like approach. This is an upgraded version of the Blackberry line, taking with it the physical attractiveness that its counterparts like the 7105t, which has a flashy silver edging. The Blackberry 8700g's keys, which can be in QWERTZ, AZERTY and QWERTY modes, allow users to type using both thumbs.

As compared with the original version, the BlackBerry 8700g shed off some grams, making it more pocket-able and lightweight to carry. The 8700g also has dedicated keys for mute, send and end keys, making it a user-friendly device. Its imaging perks include a screensaver and a wallpaper with a gamut of designs to choose from. This is a good way to customise the Blackberry 8700g handset and make it a standout in terms of its appearance.
