The Alcatel E227 is 2G network compatible with GSM 900/1800 and can be used in most parts of the world such as Europe, Middle East, Africa and most of Asia. The phone was announced in February 2007 and it still is available in the market at this very moment. The dimensions of this phone are 87 mm by 45 mm by 21 mm and it weighs only 70 grams, which is lighter than a 500-page book.

Just like any phone, the Alcatel E227 can improve on several aspects One of this is focusing on its operating system. We all know how many applications are available for smart phones and even JAVA-enabled phones, but there is so few games that can be transferred to the phone. You'll have to search high and low in order to find one that is compatible with the E227. Aside from this, most phone users complain that the USB connectivity isn't really functional as several computers do not detect the phone. Unfortunately, there is no specified driver for the device so if you plan to use it, make sure your computer is updated and that it has the latest drivers that are needed for the phone to work.
