Sporting a sophisticated look in a sleek black casing, the Acer Tempo X960 is a head-turner. It has the full dimensions of 106.4 x 59 x 13.7 millimetres and weighs 132 grams. It features a 71.12-millimetre LCD touch-sensitive screen that displays wallpapers and other images in 65,000 vibrant colours and in 649×480 resolution. The touchscreen is equipped with light sensor and handwriting recognition technologies. For ease in maneuvering, the handset comes with a four-way directional pad complete with an action button.
This mobile phone runs on widget-based Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system with Acer Shell v2.0 UI, and is powered by the Samsung S3C6410 CPU. Quad band and capable of global roaming, it supports GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900, as well as UMTS850, UMTS1900 and UMTS2100.
