The HTC Wildfire is a handset which has a large 3.2 inch colour touch screen with pinch-to-zoom capability. It uses the Android 2.1 (Éclair) platform with HTC Sense. There is a 5 megapixel colour camera with auto focus, flash and geotagging. This phone is great for Social Networking as it has Facebook for HTC Sense and Friend Stream as well as photo sharing on Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter. It has the special features of HTC Caller ID that shows the caller's Facebook status and a birthday reminder and app sharing that enables you recommend apps directly from the phone. This Quad band phone weighs 118 grams and has a battery which allows up to 490 minutes of talktime or 480 hours on standby.

I am now on my second Wildfire,and going for the third.The first just died,and would not restart.The second,and at the moment my current one,the battery does not last 12hours,even though it is on standby most of the time,so I think this one will be going back.
