About Thailand

Since then, the baht has regained most of its strength and as of 23 May 2007, is valued at 32 baht to the US dollar. Since the end of the Second World War in 1945, Thailand has had very close relations with the United States. In term of economy, it is mainly based on Agriculture, Exports, stock exchange, and tourism. Thailand exports over $105 billion worth of products annually. It has Natural resources such as Tin, rubber, natural gas, tungsten, tantalum, timber, lead, fish, gypsum, lignite, and fluorite. Thailand's Purchasing power parity domestic product (GDP) as of 2007 estimate is approximately $206.338 billion with GDP of $3,400 per capita.
