About Sri Lanka

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka is the official name of Sri Lanka. It is located in the Southern Asia, island in the Indian Ocean, and south of India. The government regained control of the Eastern Province in 2007. In term of economy, it is mainly based on tourism, wholesale and retail trade, transport, telecom, financial services.
