About Somalia
Somalia is located in the Eastern Africa, bordering the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean, east of Ethiopia. In June 2006, a loose coalition of clerics, business leaders, and Islamic court militias known as the Council of Islamic Courts (CIC) defeated powerful Mogadishu warlords and took control of the capital. In term of economy, it is mainly based on livestock, remittance/money transfer companies, telecommunications, Agriculture, Export, fishing, and forestry. It has Natural resources such as Largely unexploited reserves of iron ore, tin, gypsum, bauxite, uranium, copper, and salt; likely petroleum and natural gas reserves.
