About Pakistan
Pakistan, officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country located in South Asia, Greater Middle East and converges with Central Asia and the Middle East. It has a 1,046 kilometer (650 mile) coastline along the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman in the south, and is bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west, India in the east and China in the far northeast. In terms of size, Pakistan has a total area of 803,940 sq km which is slightly less than twice the size of California. It has 778,720 sq km land area and 25,220 sq km water area. The separation in 1947 of British India into the Muslim state of Pakistan (with West and East sections) and largely Hindu India was never satisfactorily resolved, and India and Pakistan fought two wars - in 1947-48 and 1965 - over the disputed Kashmir territory. A third war between these countries in 1971 - in which India capitalized on Islamabad's marginalization of Bengalis in Pakistani politics - resulted in East Pakistan becoming the separate nation of Bangladesh. The population of Pakistan is approximately 167,762,040. The population density of it is 206/sq km. It has a population growth rate of 1.805%. Most of Pakistan's people belong to Muslim religion. The official and most common language of those people is English. It has Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtu (Pathan), Baloch and Muhajir people. Pakistan, an impoverished and underdeveloped country, has suffered from decades of internal political disputes, low levels of foreign investment, and a costly, ongoing confrontation with neighboring India. However, since 2001, IMF-approved reforms - most notably, privatization of the banking sector - bolstered by generous foreign assistance and renewed access to global markets, have generated macroeconomic recovery. Pakistan's gross domestic product (GDP) as of 2008 estimate is approximately $504.3 billion with GDP of $3320.12 per capita.

When you make calls with DialToSave, you connect to our phone systems using your own mobile or landline provider. When you dial the full international number we use discount lines to connect to local networks in Pakistan. We can provide you with cheap calls to Pakistan by bypassing more expensive providers such as BT when connecting your call and instead using a combination of internet and telephone services.
Cheap Phone Calls to Pakistan
DialToSave offers two of its own services that provide low cost calls to Pakistan. The first is CreditTalk whereby you purchase a £5 (or £10) credit which is sent to your mobile phone as a text message with a pin number. You can purchase the topup either by texting dts to 80556 or using the above link to pay by Paypal. Once you have the credit, you then call the local rate access number 020 8497 8844 and if prompted, enter the pin number, followed by the number that you are calling in Pakistan including 00 and the country code.
The other service is InstantTalk where you do not need to pre purchase any credit. However, we only know the prices for calling Pakistan from a landline using InstantTalk, not from a mobile. You simply dial the access number and wait for the prompts before dialing the Pakistan phone number, which to a landline in Pakistan is 0871 552 2191 and to a mobile in Pakistan is 0871 552 2191.
