Mongolia is a landlocked country in East-Central Asia. It borders Russia to the north and China to the south. Ulan Bator, the capital and largest city, is home to about 38% of the population. Most of Mongoliaís people belong to Buddhist Lamaist religion. The official and most common language of those people is Korean. Economic activity in Mongolia has traditionally been based on herding and agriculture. Mongolia has extensive mineral deposits. Copper, coal, gold, molybdenum, fluorspar, uranium, tin, and tungsten account for a large part of industrial production and foreign direct investment. Mongolia's gross domestic product (GDP) as of 2007 estimate is approximately $8.42 billion with GDP of $3,200 per capita.
