Kazakhstan, also spelled Kazakstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a country in Central Asia and Europe. The population of Kazakhstan is approximately 15,340,533. The population density of it is 5.4/sq km. It has a population growth rate of 0.374%. Most of Kazakhstan's people belong to Muslim religion. The official and most common language of those people are Kazakh and Russian. It has 53% of Kazakh and rest are Russian, Ukrainian, Uzbek, German, Tatar and Uygur people. Kazakhstan, the largest of the former Soviet republics in territory, excluding Russia, possesses enormous fossil fuel reserves and plentiful supplies of other minerals and metals. It also has a large agricultural sector featuring livestock and grain. Kazakhstan's industrial sector rests on the extraction and processing of these natural resources. Kazakhstan's gross domestic product (GDP) as of 2008 estimate is approximately 161,155$ billion with GDP of $10,658 per capita.
