It has natural resources such as Petroleum and natural gas, iron ore, phosphates, manganese, limestone, gypsum, talc, asbestos, lead, zinc. Its Purchasing power parity domestic product (GDP) as of 2007 estimate is approximately $404 billion with GDP of $5,500 per capita.
