Whether your loved-ones are located in the north or south of Cyprus, there will always be a small 2 hour time difference. The Eastern Mediterranean country is 2 hours ahead of London time, so if you call at 2pm, you'll be reaching the country at 4pm.

According to statistics compiled by ITN in June 2010, there are 433,800 internet users in Cyprus. This equates to 39.3 percent of the country's population.

The same report shows that in Cyprus, the internet is used more by men than women. It also reveals that an average of 75 per cent or two thirds of people aged 16 to 24 used the internet.
